About this incentive

No-cost home upgrades; also provides $100 for the first electrification measure and $200 for the second (max $300 per customer).
You must complete a free online home evaluation and have the work installed by a contractor referred by the program.
Eligible measures include heat pumps, heat pump water heaters, electrical upgrades for gas-to-electric conversions, solar/batteries, and insulation. No income requirements.

Detailed description

Project must be completed by a contractor referred by QuitCarbon. Client must first complete a free QuitCarbon home evaluation by creating an online home profile and supplying information about existing appliances and utility usage. Rebate is $100 for the first electrification measure (heat pump, heat pump water heater, electrical upgrades to support conversion of gas appliances to electric, solar / batteries, or insulation) and $200 for the second, limited to two measures and $300 per customer.
