Earth Day and Veg Fest return to the Palisades Village Green.
For years this gathering brought our community together to celebrate the land, great food, and the spirit of the Palisades. After everything our town has been through, returning to this space together feels especially meaningful. This year’s event focuses on community, togetherness, and reconnecting with neighbors.
Join Resilient Palisades for a joyful afternoon featuring a vibrant lineup of vegan food vendors, a native plant sale, music, kids activities, and opportunities to learn from local organizations working to support a healthier and more resilient community.
Food vendors include favorites from past Veg Fests such as:
La Crêpe du Jardin
Aguas Compita
Soul Feels Good
Cookies A’More
Energy Smoothie Bar
We are also excited to welcome beloved vendors from past Pali Veg Fests like Babas Iris, known for her luxurious beauty and wellness products.
While the heart of the day is gathering together, there will also be opportunities to learn from experts and partner organizations. Representatives will be available to talk about passive houses, clean energy, and solar, along with practical steps residents can take as they rebuild and restore their homes.
Community organizations joining us include Heal the Bay, TreePeople, and others working to support environmental recovery and stewardship in our region.
Native Plants will be provided by Native Lands Public Nursery in collaboration with California Native Plant Society.
To help minimize the impact of the event, Compostable will be on site helping us manage composting and zero waste practices.
Expect a day filled with good food, meaningful conversations, and a chance to reconnect with neighbors in one of the places that has always brought the Palisades together.
