Through outreach and education, CHOC Energy promotes energy efficiency and energy conservation programs in Northern California. We specialize in the deployment of California’s Energy Savings Assistance Program for Single Family and Multifamily Homes (ESA), and Energy Savings Assistance Whole Home Program for Single-Family Homes, respectively; all serve low-income single and multifamily residences across Alameda, Contra Costa, Napa, Sacramento, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Solano and Yolo counties. All programs deliver energy cost savings to customers through the installation of energy upgrades; this free weatherization service includes appliance switch outs, HVAC appliance repair/replacement, air conditioning tune-up, minor home repairs, and the replacement of obsolete or non-functional units. CHOC Energy’s outreach also includes HVAC, Plumbing and Construction Training Services.
